MICHELIN STAR CHEF DANIEL GALMICHE TO JOIN THE POT KILN AS CHEF PATRON
CHEF DANIEL GALMICHE

Born in Haute-Saône in North Eastern France, he brings a truly relevant sophistication rooted in a childhood as a hunter-gatherer of wild food on his family farm - a larder of game and edible flora found in the gentle Vosges mountains and pine forests of the Gérardmer.

With a career spanning decades of success and worldwide cookery, Daniel has soared from the tutelage of Michel Roux, at Le Gavroche, to the kitchen heights of two and three Michelin Starred restaurants across Europe, while winning Michelin stars at four UK restaurants.

Today he is a regular guest chef on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and author of his FRENCH BRASSERIE COOKBOOK, now selling in eleven countries and in six different languages.

His landing at The Pot Kiln will draw on all his accomplishments and culinary heritage with his return to a rural kitchen but this time with the Yattendon Estate’s Hawkridge Wood as his larder.
